Aims of the Lee Charity of William Hatcliffe
The payment of grants to individuals and registered charities for the relief of persons resident in the London Borough of Lewisham (with preference to the ancient parish of Lee) who are in need, hardship, or distress,
- making grants of money
- providing or paying for goods, services, or facilities for them
- grants of money to other persons or bodies who provide goods, services, or facilities to those in need.
In exceptional circumstances, assistance may be given to someone resident outside the London Borough of Lewisham or temporarily resident in the London Borough of Lewisham.
Aims of The Lee Education Charity of William Hatcliffe
Promoting education (including social and physical training) of young persons under the age of 25 years resident in, or in the neighbourhood of, the beneficial areas (London Borough of Lewisham) in need of financial assistance.
